3D Foot Scan

3D laser scanners are use for the collection of 3D images. They collect and analyze real-world objects. They capture data quickly with immense detail and accuracy. The collected data can be used to create 3 dimensional models. By simply resting your foot onto the scanner, the scan is taken in a matter of seconds. This can be done fully, semi, or non weight bearing depending on your foot type.

CAD CAM 3D Orthotic Design

Your orthotics are designed from a mixture of the podiatrist’s assessment and the 3d laser scan using the latest CAD cam software. 3D laser scan files are uploaded to a computer where the shape of the orthotic is matched to your feet using highly complex and accurate software. Possibilities are endless in CAD cam software and the orthotics can be designed in many different shapes and materials.

Children’s Orthotics

Children’s feet are very different from adult’s feet. They are extremely flexible and the bones are soft. While your children’s feet are still growing they are extremely susceptible to injury via, womb position, improper footwear, hereditary influences and poor development. Unfortunately, children can’t always explain what they’re feeling other than saying it hurts. It is therefore vital for parents and people involved in the child’s upbringing, to pay close attention to the development of your child’s feet. Doctors argue that most foot problems and pains in adulthood stem from ill-fitting shoes or poor foot experiences during childhood. It is important to remember that the foot is NOT a separate entity, but an integral body part that supports the entire skeletal structure.

Children feet can be very soft, flexible and susceptible to injury. Kids / children’s orthotics are specifically designed to help nurture the growing foot. Kids can choose from a variety of patterns to have on their 3D printed orthotics to have the most awesome feet in town. Kids orthotics can be half length or full length with a variety of colors for the orthotics top cover.

3D Sports Orthotics

The foot’s movement when doing a particular sport is is very different to the foot’s movement when walking. For example a foot and legs motion during running compared to the motion striking a tennis ball. Hence a running shoes structure is very different from a tennis shoe.

Sport specific insoles use specific shapes, flexibility, support mechanisms, and materials to work with the foot and lower limb during the specific sport. With sports specific shoes being worn the orthotics are tailored to work with the shoe to aid in helping you perform to your best. The support given by the shoes is also taken into account when designing the orthotics.

Super Soft & Diabetic Orthotics

Diabetic and ultra soft orthotics are recommended for people who want added support with maximum cushioning, or high risk patients looking to reduce areas of high pressure, maximum comfort and protection. Soft orthotics are recommended for people with misshapen feet with extra bones.  A variety of colors can be chosen from.
